Waving hello!
I wanted to send a personal note to thank you for staying in touch. It’s readers like you who make this journey worthwhile, and I’m so grateful you’re still here as I get ready for this next chapter of my life. My youngest child is now in high school and learning to drive so suddenly I have a little more time on my hands.
When I first started publishing, I found inspiration and guidance in reading author blogs. Documenting my own journey through those early posts was a meaningful part of my growth. Some of you may even remember that old
blog: Ebook Experiment
As things took off, life got busier, and social media shifted toward quick videos and photos, blogging fell to the wayside for me. But lately,
I’ve realized how much I miss it. There is a specific kind of comfort in long-form thoughts—reading them from others and sharing my own again.
I’m officially back to blogging with: "News & Ponderings."
My initial posts are about my upcoming series, but as the blog grows, my hope is for it to truly come to life as a place of genuine connection between us. It won't be a place for venting or controversy. It'll be a space for sharing as I
learn and wander through this life and, hopefully, the posts will both entertain and inspire you.

Ruthie's Roadies: You're always welcome to join my "Street Team". Not sure what that is? I'll be blogging about it soon, but essentially way back in 2011 I created a FB group where I could talk with readers more one-on-one. It only has about 1,000 members and that might be why it has remained a positive
and safe place for me to discuss projects I'm working on and receive feedback from readers. I am so grateful for that group. When I was attending Book Signing events, I always put out an inquiry for if I had any Roadies attending and we'd gather. When money was good, I'd treat them all to dinner. When money was tight, I'd invite them as a group to my hotel room and we'd sit around and chat. We've done steamboat tours, breakfasts, walking tours and some even cheered me on as I "accidentally"
danced on the bar at Coyotte Ugly. I really did dance on the bar and I think Kathleen Brookes has the incriminating photo of it lol I'll blog about that this week for sure. Anyway, if you're interested in one-on-one interactions, here is the link to the FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/427990340575458
Thank you again for your support and for making this writing journey even more amazing by being a part of it with me.
With gratitude,
Ruthie
