Dear readers, 

I am so happy to start the new year by introducing you to Max Andrade.  As a native Rhode Islander (born here and returned after years of roaming), I enjoy including favorite places in my books. Although Slater Island is fictitious, it is loosely based on Block Island where I have spent many summer vacations. There actually is a small island off the coast of Rhode Island that bustles with tourists every summer.  However, a hardy community remains there year round. Do they actually deliver pie to each other when they're in need of a boost? You might have to visit the island yourself to uncover that truth.


For now, come fall in love with the youngest Andrade brother.
