As 2015 closes out, I am counting my blessings. Thank you for your support, for the messages so many of you sent me, and for the kindness you have shown not only me, but my family.
This past year I was given a precious gift, the chance to write a new series with my sister, Jeannette Winters, and my niece, Danielle Stewart. As you can see in my books, family is what matters the most to me. That doesn't mean I didn't make
them prove themselves by writing their own series first. (wink) They both did, and I'm so proud of how they have done. Writing is a passion of mine, but brainstorming and creating with my family brought a whole new level of joy to the process.
The Barrington Billionaires, is linked with my sister's new series,
The Barrington Billionaire Series. You'll know it's in the same world when you see my seal of approval. (My sister jokes that the seal makes me feel powerful. BAM approved or WHAM not yet...lol) Each series will stand alone, but can be read side by side for added fun. The timelines will match as we go through each book. If you pick up my book one and my
sister's book one, you'll be reading two stories set in the same year during the same months. When Danielle's first book releases, it will also be set during that time. You don't have to read them in order. You can read my series then my sister's. Or you can read mine alone and still have a complete story line.
Many of you have written to me and said that you enjoy revisiting with older characters and watching their lives evolve. You'll see this in this world.
Characters from my Legacy Collection will pop up in all three series. We created a world where all of our characters can move through all three story lines. The scenes where the characters speak are usually written by the author who created that character. So, for example, when Dominic Corisi speaks in any of the series, I wrote that scene.
